When you first hear the term internet addiction, you may smile and think this new term is a joke. Okay, so maybe people do waste a lot of time on the internet. But how can that be such a bad thing?

Yet, internet addiction can be a serious problem. Like many addictions, it is a compulsive disorder. First, take the word addiction itself. Addiction means that you are dependent on something, it is taking up a lot of your time. Now think about the time one can waste on the internet. Okay, so an hour here and there isn't a bad thing. But if a person is addicted to the internet they will be online longer than just an hour and it won't just be an event that happens occasionally, being online is something they do daily for hours on end. This addiction can lead to time away from family and friends. It can even led to time that should be spent at work.

Internet addiction can be further explained into subcategories, too. One may not just be addicted to the internet. One can get addicted to certain activities that perform while on the internet such as: online auctions, online chat rooms, online surfing, online gaming, and this addiction can even led to more serious online problems such as online gambling and online cybersex.

How do you know if you have a problem? You should start by looking at your internet habits. Then ask yourself such questions as: How often are you online? Does being online ever interfere with your work or home duties and if so how often does it? How often do you check your email? Do people in your home complain about how often you are online? Do you continue to search out new online friends? When you are not online do you anticipate when you can go back online? Do you get annoyed when someone interrupts you while you are online? Do you loose sleep because you are online late at night? Do you ever hide the length of time you were online?

The answer to the above questions can indicate that you have a problem. If you think you do, what should you do? Like with any other health problem, you may want to consider counseling. If you can't afford counseling, you may want to check out some websites that offers some help.

It may seem strange that there are websites that help with online addiction. Yet, if you think about it online websites may be the best place for online addiction sufferer to seek help. A great site is netaddiction.com. At this site, they further explain what online addiction is. They also have online self tests you can take, to see if you have a problem and to see just how deep your problem is. They also offer advice for more serious online problems such as online gambling and online cybersex activities. They even have chat rooms where recovering addicts and family members of recovering addicts can come together and share.

Should one avoid the internet for fear of getting addicted, no? The internet is a wonderful tool. You can learn a lot online. Plus, it is a great place to just relax and have fun. But moderation is the key in any activity, including the internet.

Parents should also monitor their children to make sure that they are not becoming addicted to the internet. Some children, especially teenagers, have problems building friendships and relationships. You don't want your child's only friendships to be on the internet.

The internet and your online friends should not take the place of real life and real life people. If you remember that one sentence, you will continue to enjoy the internet in a healthy way.

Download Wii Games - Why All The Confusion When It Is So Easy?

Being able to download free wii games is something that thousands of people want to do. And why wouldn't they? With the rising cost of games, it is becoming more and more important to find ways to keep the costs associated with gaming consoles in check.

So, what do you do?

Well, the first thing you do is make sure that you have the proper system requirements to download wii games.

1. Fast internet connection - If you are on a dial up connection you can all but forget being able to download games for your Wii. The files are very large and will take forever if you do not have some type of cable or broadband internet connection. On dial up, the Wii games will more than likely take a couple of days to download a single file.

2. Ample hard drive space - If you have an old computer and have not upgraded your hard drive to something that is going to give you some more space you might need to do so. Any computer that has been purchased in the last five years or so should have more than ample hard drive space. Anything older than that, take a look at your computer specs and make sure that you have at list a 20GB hard drive.

3. Up to date anti-virus software - Wii Games are not any different than anything else that is downloaded online. Every time you download a file, without exception, you have to scan the file with whatever anti-virus software you have selected. The files can be easily scanned by right clicking on the downloaded file and selecting the option to "run virus scan". Once this is complete you can be confident that the file has not been tampered with.

While being able to download free wii games is something that can be fairly easily done, it is important to make sure that your system meets the minimum requirements and that you are downloading in a legal and safe manner.

Economic stimulus: It is not just the size that matters

MARCH 6 ?The government yesterday tabled a RM10 billion allocation as part of the proposed second economic stimulus package. It was read out by Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Kong Cho Ha.

The RM10 billion allocation is evenly split, with RM5 billion going towards operational expenditure and the rest allocated for development expenditure.

On the outset, the amount allocated for the mini-Budget is going to be hotly debated in the next few weeks. Another more important aspect of the Budget which needs scrutiny is its uses. It is not sufficient for the government to merely state its intention to spend the money on operational and development without going into the details.

Download Videos to Your PSP The Easy Way

With this great little gadget sold by Sony it really is an amazing toy. There's really not much that you can't do with it.

However there is one major problem that allot of people seem to be running into and that's learning how to put videos on their little wonder machine so that they can watch movies.

It really isn't that difficult to do, so after your done reading thru this article you should know how to put videos on your toy and just like with anything else it's not easy until you know how to do it.

It's a darn shame that the Sony does not come included with a guide to put music videos or movies on your PSP, but the information is out there if you know where to look. Here is one way to do it that I have found online.

The first thing you should make sure of is that you have enough free memory to do it. If you don't you can always go to your favorite electronics store and get a bigger memory card, it's a must.

The second most important must have is a computer and that's only obvious (just checking) so you can connect your PSP to your computer with a USB cord and make sure your connected to the internet aswell. So now that you have gotten all that situated, your ready to go.

First: The first thing you need to do is connect your SonyPSP to your computer, but make sure that the it is off first. The reason for this is just to make sure your computer reads and recognizes that you have device connected. After your connected then turn it on.

Second: Once your all connected, go to the settings menu on your PSP and hit the X button once and that should automatically link it directly to your PC. If not keep repeating step number one and two until it woks. Then on your PC go to the My Computer tab hit that once, then that menu should appear and you will be able to notice that an extra volume button is available.

Third: Open your memory card and then open the folder called PSP. With this open you need to create another folder inside that one, this one called MP_ROOT?and then another one called ?00mnv01?/p>

Fourth: To save your videos or movies that you want to keep save them in the folder called ?00mnv01?and then you are ready to watch! The movies can be started by clicking on the saved image inside the memory card. One thing you should remember is that the movies need to be in MP4 format (Google it), and if you want to convert your existing DVDs Net Speedometer to this format you may want to get some specialized software.

You should be all set and ready to go. Now you can go and download any video you want and watch it on your awesome toy.

Want an unlimited supply of movies, games and music? Visit the Psp Videos Download review. Need software to convert your your MP4 or other media files click here most PSp download sites include it with their membership. Middle Income Housing (MIH)?the next big real estate opportunityReveals Cityscape India 2009 surveyMumbai, September 2009: An all India survey conducted by Cityscape India reveals that real estate consumers across India are rooting for projects in the MIH (middle income housing) segment, which the real estate industry needs to introspect closely. Over 53% respondents felt that developers are not catering to the rising emerging middle class in India. Over 79% of the respondents with income of Rs. 6L per annum stated that the ideal affordable home would be in the range of Rs. 20Lacs ?Rs. 30Lacs. Qualitative response indicates that most affordable housing projects are located in areas which are extremely distant from the main city and also lack infrastructural eco-systems. Majority of the respondents felt that reputed developers only cater to the upper classes and do not have anything to offer the middle of the pyramid. The survey also revealed that low cost housing?projects of 400sq.ft were not typical projects that the middle class would buy into due to lack of infrastructure, poor quality of materials and lack of space for family. Graham Wood, Cityscape India Group Isp comments, The Indian real estate industry need to listen actively to consumers across India. Their feedback is clearly indicating that MIH is a segment which they need to now focus upon actively. Affordable housing is a different category from MIH; and as the real estate market matures ?developers will specifically need to come up with MIH solutions in various cities. Developers have to innovate to bring prices to realistic levels to win back their trust?Consumers also feel that the 2006 real estate boom was primarily driven by Internal Dsl Modem and builders, not the real buyers. Today, very few developers are able to keep commitments on timely delivery of projects as banks have stopped lending and genuine buyers have lost trust in the industry. The Cityscape India conference will have an opening session in Mumbai on December 2009 to discuss the above with leading influencers in the real estate industry. About Cityscape IndiaIndias largest and only business-to-business real estate investment and development exhibition and conference will once again take place from 9 ?11 December 2009. I know what you are thinking...

JULY 21 ?Many are shell-shocked by the death of Teoh Beng Hock. mobile broadband do not want to repeat many of the things that are said about his death other than the fact that faster internet was a needless death. Someone must be held responsible and be accountable.

Which brings me to what a lot of people are thinking ?if the government is genuinely interested broadband optimizer good governance, a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) is the only option. I say this not because I think RCI is the easy option- infact RCI should be use only in extreme cases and the last option.

In this case, it is clear that the most influential segment of the Malaysian public do not trust the security agencies in this country anymore. There is no trust that these agencies are capable of conducting an independent probe into what happened. There is even less trust that there are good people in these organisations to conduct an impartial investigation.

Nintendo Wii Systems - Prices

So you've decided to get a Nintendo Wii system for your house, but have no clue Adsl Speed to start? Well there are several reasons why you chose this video game system out there, but there are things that you shouldn't do when looking to buy your Nintendo Wii system. What you shouldn't do is pay the retail prices for them, but I have to agree that the Nintendo Wii is worth every penny, right now in our economy we should try and cut corners. Cutting corners though doesn't have to mean you're cutting quality out your purchase.

Where to Find Used Nintendo Wii Consoles

OK, so now that I told you not to buy your Wii system at retail, I should offer advice on where to find these video consoles used right? The absolute cheapest way you can find a used Nintendo Wii is probably through a classified, but there are tons of red flags here and this is an option I wouldn't recommend you taking unless you know the seller well. One reason why I wouldn't buy through a local ad is because all sales are final. Usually there are no testers verifying that the unit works and often times all sales are final.

One option I recommend and have done myself is through and online store or auction. But wait, didn't I just told you not to pay retail? Well, you're not. There are auction stores online offering quality customer returned Nintendo Wii systems from brick and mortar retail stores. Now, because these Wii systems are open box and maybe its missing something small and miniscule, there's your chance for big savings. Also, some of these auction sites have testers for quality control unlike those bigger auctions broadband phone deal eBay where you have no clue at times if the item is working.

Nintendo DS Movie Player Plays Movies and Music On Your Nintendo DS and GBA

I'm always searching for the latest gadgets and game accessories. Be they from third party manufacturers or from the system creators themselves. But I have to admit that when I first heard about Nintendo's Movie Player add on for the Nintendo DS, I was very surprised.

The reason for my surprise was quite simple. You see, I've been watching movies on my Gameboy Advance and Nintendo DS, well, since their release date, with a really fantastic little accessory called the NDS / GBA Movie player.

After doing some searching on Google, I am equally surprised that more Nintendo DS (or Gameboy Advance) owners have not heard of this truly unexampled accessory for their Nintendo DS. It seems that perhaps with all the hype around the Sony PSP and it's movie playing capabilities, we've all neglected to take a look at the less expensive Nintendo DS as anything other than a handheld game system.

What really made this accessory a must buy for myself, was the fact that in addition to movies, I was also able to listen to my MP3 music on my Nintendo DS too - just like Sony PSP owners can. I won't go into the debate as to which handheld system Baltimore Business Services better, or offers more... That's would negate the real reason for this article, which is simply to show Nintendo DS and Gameboy Advance owners that their fun little handheld game system is capable of playing all types of media files too.

The GBA/NDS Movie Player enables you to use your Nintendo DS, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Advance SP, or Gameboy Micro to play video and audio files and read e-books from standard Compact Flash cards. And before you think that you'll only be able to watch movie clips or short films, let me be clear in stating that you can watch an entire full length movie with the Movie Player. You can use your PC and a normal Compact Flash card reader to transfer and convert your media files to the Compact Flash cards. The included software even converts files directly from DVD to the proper movie Player format.

And before you think that it'll take a rocket scientist to convert their DVD movie to the proper file type - think again! The software is so very easy to use, that it requires you to do nothing more than insert the DVD movie you wish to convert, or the digital file if you have it. While this is not any special format so to speak, as the UMD movie discs are for Sony PSP. You can actually take any DVD movie you own, and convert it with the included software to be played back on your Nintendo DS system. What this means is that you're not stuck buying multiple versions of the same movie to watch that movie on the go.

One of the most common question that I'm asked is whether or not the movie player can actually store and play back a full length movie from a compact flash card. I can completely understand why this would be confusing. I mean, let's face it, DVD movies are several GIGABYTES in size, how could these possibly fit on a small 256 Megabyte CF card.

I always answer that question with the very same answer. It can play full length movies just fine. But in case you're wondering just how that may be possible, let me explain. It has a lot to do with the screen size of the GBA and Nintendo DS. Because the screen is much smaller, the file size of the full length movie can be much smaller too, simply because it does not have to maintain a very high resolution the same way it would if you were to watch that movie on your TV set. In essence, it "down converts" the DVD movie, to Tm Malaysia Berhad it fit right onto the GBA or Nintendo DS screen, otherwise you would have to scrool left to right and up and down in order to see the whole video.

For those of you wondering just how how big your Compact Flash card has to be to enjoy a full movie, here's a breakdown of the amount of video you can store on common compact flash card sizes. And I have to remind you to take into consideration that most movies are no more than 95 - 110 minutes long. This will give you a real indication of just how much you can stare on each card.

The following is a list of the amount of storage you can have on various compact flash cards. 960 minutes on a 1GB Compact Flash, 480 minutes on a 512MB Compact Flash, 240 minutes on a 256MB Compact Flash, and 120 minutes on a 128MB Compact Flash. As you can see, even a 128M compact flash card is Adsl Cable to store a full length movie.

In order to watch a movie on the GBA Movie Player, you'll first have to use your PC to convert the DVD movie to the proper file format for the player itself. This can be done quite easily with the included software that comes with the GBA Movie Player itself. And don't forget. You can do a whole lot more than just watch movies. You can actually listen to MP3 music, read e-books, and even load PDA type software onto the Compact Flash card which will essentially turn your Nintendo DS into a very functional PDA.

Rather than waiting for the Nintendo DS movie player, which will be released sometime next year by Nintendo themselves, I would urge all NDS owners to take a look at the GBA/NDS Movie Player. It's packed with functions and features, and has a price that simply can't be beat. Even when adding up the cost of a Nintendo DS and the Movie Player, you'll find that you're still at par, or cheaper than most good quality portable DVD players.

And let's face it, you simply can't put a portable DVD player in your pocket, or have it play the latest Mario game either.

Steven Fields is hard core video game player and also provides technical and sales support for video game accessories at http://www.ps2cover.com For more information on the GBA Movie Player make sure to visit PS2Cover.com
